After years of not exercising, I decided I wanted to get
back in shape and
began cycling. From there I began running and swimming
and getting
involved in triathlons. Racing has become a huge part of
my life and I
realized that I can not only have fun doing what I love,
but that I can also
help those in return. Even though I am not a Marine
Parent, I've always been in awe of the commitment that it
takes for a Marine to be away from their family and also
not having your child or spouse in the country. I want
this to be the first
marathon on my start towards fundraising for every race I
do!
