Hi there! I have to admit I am NOT a fan of running… BUT I have run many marathons in honor and memory of my “niece”, Alexa. I try to raise money for pediatric brain tumor research and to help the kids affected by brain tumors. After seven marathons, I decided to “retire”; my body was tired. THEN, my son, John, became a Marine and I learned about Team Marine Parents. How could I not try to help THEM raise money for people in need? So here I am 6 months out of retirement and going for another 26.2 miles! I will be running for Team Marine Parents as well as my Alexa (alexasgiftsofhope.org). I hope you can help me out! Thanks!
