I always enjoy the virtual runs, and this month was great to do it in support of Veterans! My wife and I walked the walk and got the medal and a shirt to remember it!

It was honor to take part in the virtual run in support of Veterans this month! It took me a little longer this month, but that’s ok! Hoping to get a few donations for TMP and appreciate the hubby’s support walking it with me!

I am humbled and thankful to be able to run in support of all Veterans and active duty members! My dad, my father-in-law and my sweet son Gabe, who is serving now! ❤️

Honoring all active, reservists, retired, and Gold Star veterans. I have two sons that are in the Navy and Marines and my father who is a Vietnam combat veteran.

I was so honored to do this hike today. I have so many special service members in my life, from my father and uncles to my son-in-law to my nephew, our newest Marine. I have many friends who served proudly in different branches of our Armed Forces. It is something I have wished I had done many times over the years of my life - it didn’t happen to be God's plan for me to serve my country in that way, but I definitely take every opportunity I can to show up for those that have. That is, I have learned, a service of its own kind. I know it takes sacrifice from all, whether the service member or their family. We all do our part; together is how we get through the hard times, and together is how we celebrate the good times. God Bless the USA. Thank you, Veterans. I hope I made you proud today.

I opted to complete my event on the 10th because the weekend is supposed to much colder & today is absolutely gorgeous!! It is the Marine Corps Birthday, so I hope it counts! :)

I had to walk because I'm nursing a sore hip. I took the 4yr old girl I watch on Thursdays/Fridays. She rode her balance bike the whole time! :) I am so very thankful for our veterans!! There are quite a few in our family (not all Marines) including my husband (Army) & our sons (Marines)!
